We provide morning and evening classes led by instructors with commitment and dedication. The classes are open to people of all ages and physical abilities, and are offered seven days a week to accommodate most schedules. Personal attention is given to beginners, with special classes geared to young children ages 4 to 7 and 7 to 13 years old.

Class descriptions are as follows:
GENERAL (1-1/2 hours)
Open to all students, this traditional class consists of an overview of all hand and leg techniques, moving stances, self-defense, kata and pad work. Class format will vary slightly depending on the instructor.
KATA (1-1/2 hours)
Open to color belts, this class covers kata and self-defense for each level along with a review of previous katas for more senior students. Push-ups, sit-ups, squats and stretching are done between katas.
MEDITATION (45 minutes)
Open to all students, this class begins with a 15-minute warm up and breathing exercises. Next comes 20 minutes of meditation accompanied by candles. Following the meditation, a 10-minute lecture of Kyokushin as Budo Karate philosophy is given to inspire students. Full Gi is required.
RANK SPECIFIC (1-1/2 hours)
"Rank specific" refers to classes such as Blue & Yellow Belt class, Green & Brown belt class, Black Belt class, etc. These classes are similar to the "General" classes except they are specific to the rank and cover the syllabus more closely. Black Belt class on Tuesday night is approximately one hour forty-five minutes.
KUMITE - FIGHTING (1-1/2 hours)
Open to orange belts and above, this class is a sparring class for fighting only. Exchanging techniques and drills for improving one's fighting are covered in this class. Mouthguard, hand and feet protectors, headgear and groin cup/chest protector is mandatory.
BEGINNER (1-1/2 hours)
Open to all white and advanced white belt students. This class is an introduction to Kyokushin Karate and is crucial to any student's training. Includes basic hand and leg techniques, stance and pad work.
REVIEW - OPEN CLASS (1 hour)
Open to all belts depending on day. This class is geared toward students returning from an absence, as well as those who wish to brush up on their technique and improvements. The format of the class is similar to a general class and you are encouraged to ask the instructors questions before or after class.
POWER STRETCH (45 minutes)
Open to all students, this class begins with a brief warm-up to increase blood circulation. The following 35 minutes are designated for individual stretching and stretching with a partner. Students typically attend this class before or after another more strenuous class.
ADVANCED TECHNIQUE (45 minutes)
Open to green belts and above, this class focuses on Kyokushin self-defense (Basic and Intermediate) as well as other practical applications for street self-defense. Although this class goes over ground fighting with joint locks, it is within a controlled, safe environment. Full gi is mandatory.
FIGHT STRATEGY (1 hour)
Open to yellow belts and above, this class gives a head start to blue and yellow belts for "kumite" (fighting) and also gives senior belts an opportunity to brush up on basics to point fighting. Class consists of combinations with application, footwork, tactics for effective fighting and some target practice. Mouthguard and protection is mandatory.
ENDURANCE TRAINING (45 minutes) Open to all students, this class is a kihon class. A great way to increase stamina and speed in your technique, classes begin with a 10-minute warm-up followed by 30 minutes of non-stop movement. Hand/leg combinations with jump- and push-ups, sit-ups and squats. Kyokushin or T-shirt, gi pants and belt is optional.
CONDITIONING AND PAD SKILLS (45 minutes)
Open to orange belts and above, this class focuses on effective combinations and good habit-forming skills while striking pads. Strength training drills are also a part of every class. Bag gloves are recommended to protect the wrist and knuckles while striking the pads.
